Royal Flush — the strongest hand in poker

From classic formats to faster modern variants — all available for Malaysian players
The most popular variant in the world and the top choice among AGN88 Malaysia players. Each player receives two private hole cards and shares five community cards. Reading your opponents and keeping your emotions in check are the keys to winning in this format.
In Omaha, players receive four hole cards but must use exactly two of them alongside three community cards to build the best hand. Omaha Hi-Lo adds a strategic layer where the pot is split between the highest and the lowest qualifying hand.
PLO caps the maximum bet size at the current pot, creating a more dynamic game where pots can grow dramatically in a short amount of time. It's a favourite among experienced players looking for a bigger challenge than standard Texas Hold'em.
Played with a 36-card deck after removing the 2s through 5s, Short Deck produces faster gameplay and larger average pots. Hand rankings also differ slightly — a flush beats a full house in this format.
A streamlined tournament format that kicks off as soon as the required number of players has registered. Perfect for players who don't want a long time commitment — most SNGs at AGN88 wrap up in just 30 to 60 minutes.
A large-field tournament format where many players compete simultaneously across multiple tables. Prize money accumulates into a growing pool based on the total number of entries. AGN88's weekly MTT is the centrepiece of the Malaysian poker community every weekend.

Points are earned based on your finishing position in each tournament. First place earns 100 points, second place 80 points, and so on. Your cumulative points over a seven-day period determine your ranking on the weekly leaderboard.

Poker is more than a game of luck. Anyone who has sat at a serious poker table knows it's a blend of skill, psychology, patience, and the courage to make the right call at the right moment. At AGN88, we understand that Malaysian poker players aren't casual — they want a platform that's serious, fair, and built for a genuine playing experience.
That's why AGN88 invests in robust poker infrastructure — software built for smooth gameplay even during peak hours, an active anti-collusion system that monitors playing patterns, and customer support that understands the language of local poker players.
Ask any Malaysian poker player, and almost all of them will tell you Texas Hold'em is the game they started with and still play most. The majority of high-profile tournaments worldwide use this format, making learning resources far more accessible than for any other variant. From strategy books and YouTube videos to online discussion forums, these resources help Malaysian players keep improving their game continuously.
AGN88 offers Texas Hold'em tables across a wide range of blind levels to suit every type of player — from beginner tables with blinds as low as RM0.25/RM0.50, to high roller tables at RM10/RM20 and above. You can start small, build your skills and confidence, then move up when you're ready. There's no pressure to play beyond your means.
One factor that new poker players often overlook — but experienced players take very seriously — is rake, the small fee the platform takes from each pot. AGN88 charges some of the most competitive rake rates in the Malaysian market, and our rakeback programme ensures you get a portion of your paid rake back through an automatic cashback mechanism calculated on a daily basis.
For high-volume players, the difference between a 5% and a 3% rake can add up to hundreds of ringgit a month. This is a tangible edge that AGN88 offers over platforms that aren't transparent about their rake structure.
The biggest concern for most online poker players is game integrity — are opponents playing fair, or is collusion happening behind the scenes? AGN88 employs a sophisticated collusion detection system that continuously monitors betting patterns, action history, and account activity. Any account showing signs of collusion or the use of unauthorised assistance software will be suspended immediately, without warning.
All cards are dealt using independently verified RNG (Random Number Generator) technology, ensuring the card sequence is completely random and cannot be predicted or manipulated by any party — including AGN88's own management. You play on a level playing field, every time.

From there, navigate to the Poker section on the AGN88 platform, choose your preferred variant, select a table that fits your bankroll, and take a seat — you're ready to play. For players who want to warm up first, select AGN88 tables offer a play money mode before you switch to real money.
One of the main reasons poker stands apart from other casino games is its tournament structure, which gives players the chance to turn a small buy-in into winnings far exceeding their initial stake. AGN88's Daily Grind Freezeout tournament, with a buy-in of just RM30, gives players the shot at winning several hundred to thousands of ringgit if they make it to the final table.
The AGN88 monthly tournament is the most anticipated event in Malaysia's online poker community on this platform. With a guaranteed prize pool of over RM100,000 and an accessible buy-in, it draws players from across the country to compete. The monthly tournament's top winner also earns a spot on the AGN88 Hall of Fame and gains entry into the next tier of exclusive tournaments.
Malaysian players are known for gaming on the go, and AGN88 is fully built for that. The AGN88 poker platform is optimised for mobile screens with a clean, responsive interface on both Android and iOS. Play while waiting for the LRT in Kuala Lumpur, during your lunch break, or from the comfort of your couch at night — whenever and wherever you like.
Push notifications for upcoming tournaments, prize pool updates, and seat availability alerts mean you never miss the opportunity you've been waiting for. The poker experience on the AGN88 mobile app is fully on par with playing on a laptop.

A quick guide to help you play smarter at the AGN88 tables
The most common mistake new players make is playing too many hands. Stick to strong starting hands and play them with confidence. Playing your best 20% of hands aggressively is far more profitable than passively playing 50% of them.
Acting after your opponent (late position) is a major advantage in poker. From the dealer button, you have the most information before making a decision. Exploit this edge by playing more hands from late position.
Never sit at a table where the buy-in exceeds 5% of your total bankroll. If your poker bankroll is RM1,000, stick to tables with a maximum buy-in of RM50. Bankroll discipline protects you from short-term variance that can lead to heavy losses in a short space of time.
"Tilt" happens when the negative emotions following a bad beat start affecting your decision-making at the table. A player on tilt can burn through their entire bankroll in a single session. Learn to recognise your own tilt triggers and step away from the table the moment you feel it coming on.
AGN88 puts player wellbeing first — poker should be a fun and enjoyable experience
Use the deposit limit and loss limit features in your AGN88 account settings. This helps you stay within what you can afford without relying solely on willpower during an intense session.
Poker can be surprisingly absorbing. Set a session timer so you don't lose track of time, especially when playing on your smartphone late at night. Getting enough rest is essential for making good decisions at the table.
AGN88 strictly enforces a minimum age of 18 through identity verification during registration. The platform is inaccessible to underage individuals under any circumstances.
If poker is causing you financial or emotional stress, contact AGN88 support to activate a temporary or permanent self-exclusion. Requests are processed within 24 hours and fully respected.
